🎶OhioMTA–SW Kick-Off 2025 Recap 🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Kick-Off at the Midpointe Library! What an incredible afternoon of inspiration, connection, and fresh ideas to launch the teaching year with confidence.

We were delighted to welcome Christina Whitlock, host of the Beyond Measure Podcast, as our featured guest. Her session sparked thoughtful conversations and gave us practical strategies to carry into the year ahead.

From networking with colleagues to learning together—and even enjoying a few giveaways—it was wonderful to see so many teachers come together from across the region.

2025 MTNA Teacher of the Year for the state of Ohio!

Please join us in congratulating Elizabeth Swift, who has been named the 2025 MTNA Teacher of the Year for the state of Ohio!

Presented by the Music Teachers National Association, this award recognizes a music educator who has made a significant impact on students and the broader music community and Elizabeth exemplifies this mission through her leadership, creativity, and dedication to the profession.
