Ronald McDonald Playathon Fundraiser

AlivenArts + OhioMTA SW + Ronald McDonald House
#kidshelpingkids #musicheals

On Friday – Saturday – Sunday – September 15-16-17 AlivenArts and OhioMTA Southwest District will be co-sponsoring the Ronald McDonald House Music Play-a-thon.

Since 1995, the Ronald McDonald House Piano Play-a-Thon has raised over $125,000 for the operating budget of the Cincinnati-based Ronald McDonald House. 4,000 students, representing 250 independent music teachers across the tri-state area have participated in the amazing event.

Jennifer Goodin, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House says: “The Music Play-a-thon is truly a marker event for our house. The overwhelming support and participation of students, teachers and parents has had a significant impact on the Ronald McDonald House. The partnership of music and kids is something we deeply value and appreciate. The monies raised by these young musicians have provided the Ronald McDonald House with a new piano, a beautiful garden and new playground equipment – we can’t thank them enough.”

Kids helping kids using music - what a winning combination! We are writing to ask you to be part of this exciting event. There is no central or organized event –teachers and students can participate and design their OWN Play-a-thon. There is no registration process or fee to participate –students set up their own fundraising plan or teachers organize events and all of the money collected goes directly to the RMH. There will be 2 grand prizes for the top 2 student participants raising the most money – a Trip to Great Wolf Lodge and an Ipad Mini!
